“I love Kingsbarns. I have got great memories here.”
“The first time I played here was in 2004 in the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy. I played really well. I remember I was 8 under through 12. It was the week after the Junior Ryder Cup and a few of us came over here to play; I had a great time. That was my first experience of Kingsbarns and coming back now with the Dunhill Links Championship and everything – it’s just a great golf course to play.”
“Kyle Phillips has done a great job here. I’ve played some of his other courses. He knows what he is doing when he is designing.”
— Rory McIlroy

“A beautiful golf course that we thoroughly enjoyed playing. Our caddies - Garry and Stuart - were outstanding. Would definitely play again on our next trip to Scotland.”

“It's the best golf experience of our lives. From the moment you arrive you are treated like a 25 year local member - the atmosphere is special and the experience doesn't feel "touristy" or crowded. Facilities are world-class, bar has the best view in the world and the pro shop has more than enough excuses to buy plenty of merch (we bough hoodies, club covers, hats, shirts. . . . ). Of course the staff are magnificent - concierge, pro shop, bar, caddies. Each and every person understands they play a part in your special day.
