Carrying the bunker down the left will not put you
in the second bunker on the left. Fairway contours
will see to that under most wind conditions. All the greenside contours and issues make an angle from the left much easier. If the trees at the right of the green get in your mind, a ball out to the left is no bargain given the deep tight-cut hollow there.
